UPDATED! Drake & Chris Brown Get Into Fight At WIP Nightclub In NYC!

Chris Brown sustained a nasty gash on his chin — apparently a wound from a bottle attack — after his entourage allegedly clashed with Drake’s crew in a NYC nightclub brawl. MORE DETAILS & PICS BELOW!

TMZ has confirmed with the NYPD that the two singers’ crews got into a fight at WIP nightclub — 5 people were injured in the melee.

NYPD arrived on the scene after receiving a call between 4 and 5am. Chris and Drake were not present when cops arrived.

We’re told there were no critical injuries … just bumps, bruises and lacerations. No arrests were made.

After the fight, Brown tweeted a photo of his injury … along with the message, “How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol… Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!.”

The photo and the message have since been removed from Brown’s Twitter page.

There are reports the two started throwing blows (and bottles!) over Chris’ ex girlfriend, Rihanna, who Drake is rumored to have hooked up with.

A few hours before the brawl, TMZ shot footage of Drake leaving the London hotel … surrounded by some diesel-sized hired muscle. No word if they were involved in the bar fight, but wow … that would be scary

Drake flashed his middle finger, engaged in serious trash talk, and drafted several other rappers to join his posse … minutes before the all out brawl with Chris Brown, according to multiple witnesses in the club.

We’re told the tension started building when Drake gave the middle finger to one of Chris’ bodyguards and shouted … “I’m about to go whoop that ass!” Chris’ entourage then returned fire with a few hand gestures of their own.

Witnesses — who were very close to the action — tell us that Drake felt disrespected … even though he started the exchange … and went to get backup from his boys Meek Mill, Juelz Santana, and Trav B.

At this point, we’re told Drake got loud and shouted at Chris … “You be on that ho s**t on Twitter n***a” — a clear reference to a recent Twitter war between Chris, Drake, and Meek … all over who’s banging Rihanna.

Moments later we’re told Chris’ security guards got irate, pushing and shoving began between Meek, Juelz and Chris’ posse — and you know the rest.

Interestingly, everyone agrees Drake never got physically involved in the brawl — even though his mouth … and finger … sparked it all.

Billionaire T. Boone Pickens Sons Drake On Twitter

Drake had a Twitter exchange on Thursday (May 31), but not with one of his rap peers. His exchange was with an unlikely individual: billionaire chairman of BP Capital, T. Boone Pickens.

Sometime Wednesday evening, the rapper hopped on Twitter (@Drake) to brag about his riches to his 7.4 million followers, writing: “The first million is the hardest.”

Hours later, Pickens (the 330th richest man in the U.S.) responded, manually retweeting Drizzy’s tweet, and adding (@boonepickens): “The first billion is a helluva lot harder.”

According to Mashable.com, Pickens’s net worth is somewhere around $1.4 billion. In comparison, in Drake’s single “The Motto”, he raps: “I’m 25, sitting on $25 mill.” So, Pickens has quite a few million more than the rapper … to say the least.

Amused by Pickens’ comment, Drake fired back: “@boonepickens just stunted on me heavy.”

Funny little exchange, and should be a lesson to rappers. Although you may think you’re rich, and you probably are, someone always has a lot more than you do. So, let’s stop with the boasting and start with the investing.

BEEF BETWEEN YMCMB AND G.O.O.D. MUSIC?

Clipse member Pusha T dropped his controversial song “Exodus 23:1″ this week, which many believe takes aim at Drake … and now, Lil Wayne comes to his artist’s defense.

On the track, the G.O.O.D. Music emcee spits subliminals at the Canadian hip-hop star and his YMCMB crew, rapping: “Beef is when you hide behind them other n****s/ But they ain’t killas, they ain’t pulling them triggas / F**** n****s.

“Contract all f***ed up / I guess that means you all f***ed up / You signed to one n****, that’s signed to another n****, that’s signed to three n****s / Now that’s bad luck / Damn that sh** even the odds now / You better off selling this hard now / You call it living out your dreams / You can’t fly without your wings.”

Before anyone could ask Pusha if his bars were, indeed, meant for Drizzy and/or anyone specific, Weezy fired off a shot on Twitter, defending his music family.

“Fuk pusha t and anybody that love em,” Tune Chi wrote on Twitter (@LilTuneChi).

This isn’t the first time critics/fans took Pusha T’s subliminals as disses toward Drake. In late 2011, he dropped a freestyle over Drake’s “Dreams Money Can Buy” beat, and titled it “Don’t F*** Wit Me.”

On it, some speculated whether this line was meant for Drizzy or not: ‘Rappers on their sophomores, actin’ like they boss lords / Fame such a funny thing for sure, when n****s start believing all them encores.”

Nothing came of that bar, but apparently, Weezy isn’t liking his latest song.
